Complete with all maps. 80 pp. The operation of the II Corps, USA, lasted 17 days and involved advances of 25-50 miles by four divisions. The II Corps battle was in two main phases; the first phase outflanked all the major German hill fortresses and forced them to retreat to a line east of Mateur and the Tine Valley on the last hills protecting Bizerte and Tunis. In the second phase, the II Corps struck the enemy line again and broke through to capture Bizerte and Chouigui and forced the surrender of all Axis troops.
