Lest We Regret was written by Douglas Reed a controversial author whose ideas about the numbers of Jews who died during the second World War lead him to fall from grace and ultimately dropped by most major publishers.

 

The title the author wanted was "Battle in England" but the publisher overruled him. A politcal review of the sate of the nation (in war) and how things can get better afterwards, with chapters on foregn policy, education, Britishness, Zioinsts and Palestine, etc
