Armoury Models Group PZ.KpFW.VII "Lowe" German WWII Heavy Tank (1:72 Scale)

Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe (German for lion) was a project of a German heavy tank from World War II. The car project was never developed as a prototype, let alone entered into mass production. The vehicle was to be powered by an engine Maybach HL 230 P 30 800 hp. The tank was to be armed with an 88 or 105 mm cannon and one 7.92 mm machine gun.

Design work on the Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe began in late 1941. Initially, it was planned to create two variants of this car. The first was to be a tank weighing about 75 tons with an armor of up to 100 mm (the so-called Leichte Löwe), and the second was a tank weighing about 90 tons and armor up to 120 mm (the so-called Schweres Löwe). However, it was quickly decided to focus on the second project, with the planned armor thickness increased to 140 mm, and the 88 mm cannon as the main armament. However, the project was finally abandoned in favor of the Pz.Kpfw. VIII Maus. The Löwe tank never got off the drawing board.
